JF Packaging Ltd. recently opened its new factory in Kotugoda.
The inauguration of the company’s state-of-the-art machine equipped factory- the brain child of JFPL’s Managing Director Lakshman de Fonseka, underlines JF Packaging’s commitment to support customers in the packaging industry in Sri Lanka.
“Sri Lanka has a growing market for flexible packaging. As the new technology leader in flexible packaging, we are committed in providing product and service support to our customers locally and around the world. Establishing a new factory, investing in new machinery and a R&D Center is a demonstration of our commitment to help the flexible packaging industry to grow in Sri Lanka,” JF Packaging CEO Terrence Fernandopulle said speaking at the new factory opening ceremony.
Adding to his speech he also thanked their main customers namely Nestle Sri Lanka, Unilever Sri Lanka, Keells, Prima and MDK Food products who has helped JFPL become what they are today.

The occasion was concluded with an employee appreciation ceremony where over 30 employees were recognised for their long standing services to the company that ranged from over 10 to 25 years.
Founded in 1987 by late Joseph de Fonseka, JFPL is the pioneer in three layer polyethylene film extrusion and to use Flexo printed films in laminated flexible packaging in Sri Lanka. It is an ISO 22000: 2005, ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP certified company. The company is an industrial leader in flexible packaging mainly serving the food, garments and medicinal industries.
