Legal action is being considered against Adele Balasingham in Britain for allegedly providing cyanide capsules for child soldiers.
Two community organizations in Britain are making preparations to take legal action against the widow of the so called former theoretician of the LTTE Anton Balasingham. Two Sinhalese and a Tamil Organizations are making the preliminary arrangements in this connection. She is to be charged with providing cyanide capsules for child soldiers of the LTTE. These organizations are of the view that she should be penalized for creating a war mentality in children and placing them at risk. The community workers say that she has committed a serious offence before the Humanitarian Law by diverting children of another country towards such activities. They expressed confidence that she would not be pardoned by the law.
