Stock broking firm DNH Financial says it is time for investors in the Colombo stock market to shift gears as the outlook for equities in particular and Sri Lanka in general is highly positive. Here are excerpts from DNH Financial’s last week’s review:
In what can generally be described as a tensed week for global equities, the Sri Lanka bourse continued relatively unrestrained with the ASPI down just 1.7% to 6,871 while the more liquid MPI lost 1.2% to close the week at 6,209.
Reflecting lacklustre trading, turnover declined by 48.2% to Rs. 10.2 b with the only notable trading recorded in Tess Agro and Blue Diamonds.
