Nexus, the local loyalty card for its customers purchasing from partner retail outlets in the island, is offering a 20% discount on 100 essential or everyday items retailed by its sister company Keells Super, one of Sri Lanka’s fastest growing supermarket chains.
This is in addition to the bonus points that Nexus has been traditionally offering its customers since its launch 10 years ago.
An official speaking to reporters at the launch of the discount proposition on Wednesday said that in the next step this discount service would be made available among its other partner merchant outlets as well.
A press release said that this discount scheme will be valid till next month’s end.
Nexus which has over 80,000 cardholders saw 20,000 added on in only last year alone.
Nexus points calculated on the basis of 1% of the purchase made at any given time from Keells Super and other partner merchant outlets may be accumulated each time purchases are made from such designated outlets, and is redeemable either once a year or once in two years.
Non Nexus cardholders will enjoy a 10% discount on those purchases made at Keells Super outlets. Nexus and Keells Super come under the umbrella of blue chip John Keells Holdings plc.
