Cinnamon Lakeside gives Mohombi concert tickets to top Facebook fans

Sep 20, 2011 3:55:33 PM - www.ft.lk

Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, official hospitality partner for Mohombi Live in Concert, invites fans to join the ‘Mohombi MoveMeant’ on their Facebook page.

The hotel will reward its top five Facebook fans with two tickets to Afro-viking superstar Mohombi’s concert at CH&FC on 30 September.
To enter the competition, become a fan of the hotel’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/cinnamonlakeside and share the page with as many friends as possible.  The hotel will select the top five fans, ranked by the number of new fans they were responsible for, and reward them with two tickets to experience Mohombi in concert live.
Enter the competition by emailing a list of your friends who joined the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Facebook page to pr.lakeside@cinnamonhotels.com by 26 September.  The top five will be posted on or before 29 September on the hotel’s Facebook page.
Mohombi Nzasi Moupondo spiraled to fame with his hit single ‘Bumpy Ride’ in October last year.  Born to a Swedish mother and Congolese king-cum-politician father, Mohombi had a far from typical upbringing which involved being shipped off to a military base in France, then to the suburbs of Stockholm.
In Sweden he formed a boy-band, Avalon, with his brother that sold half a million albums, won an African Grammy and performed alongside Ludacris and Ginuwine.  He later moved to LA to become songwriter, met Red One – successful music producer with the likes of Lady Gaga under his belt, and the rest is history as they say.
