New Airbus A320 joins RJ fleet

Sep 26, 2011 2:30:24 PM - www.ft.lk

Royal Jordanian, the national carrier of Jordan, last week received a second new Airbus A320, as part of the airline’s medium-haul flight modernisation programme.
The programme involves replacing the current six Airbus A320s and A321s with seven newly manufactured ones of the same models.

President/CEO Hussein Dabbas said the renewal of the Royal Jordanian fleet will continue with the introduction of three additional A320s and two A321s, which will be delivered to the company during 2011 and 2012.
These contracted aircraft are leased on operational basis and will be part of a total of 13 aircraft of the A320 family: four A319s, four A321s and five A320s.
