Sep 27, 2011 2:59:30 PM - www.ft.lk

Sri Lanka’s flagship telecommunications service provider, Dialog Axiata, in collaboration with Starhub, a fully integrated operator in Singapore, now offers customized international connectivity solutions to customers.

The partnership is focused on delivering the lowest cost connectivity solutions with strict service levels between Sri Lanka and Singapore using each other’s network.  It will also enable customers to have a single point of accountability for their global connectivity solutions in and around Singapore. Pre-activated bandwidth between Dialog and StarHub will enable faster roll out times for any connectivity solutions.
Commenting on the company’s partnership with StarHub, Suresh Sidhu, Dialog Axiata’s Chief Officer-Enterprise and Global Business said, “Dialog continues to expand its international footprint via this partnership with Star Hub.  It extends our promise to Enterprise customers to be the single point of service delivery for voice, data, video and TV requirements. These partnerships extend a seamless global network, which enables us to lower the cost of international connectivity.”
“We are pleased to partner Dialog, in offering businesses in Singapore alternative routing capability to Sri Lanka as well as interconnection to other key South Asian countries such as Bangladesh and Pakistan. We are confident that those companies in Singapore with operations in southern asia will benefit from this IPLC link which provides high-speed Internet access, business data exchange, video-conferencing and other forms of telecommunication services,” said Kevin Lim, Vice President of Business Solutions, StarHub.
