TMVP-India talks next month

A TMVP delegation headed by Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan is expected to leave for India next month to hold discussions with the Indian government over the TMVP’s policies, a party official told Daily Mirror online.
The TMVP, which failed to secure even a single seat in parliament after their defeat at the General elections said that they are currently in discussions with the Indian government over the details of the tour to the neighboring country late next month. The party is expected to meet high ranking Indian officials during their visit.
“We are currently in discussions with the Indian government. We will finalize our dates to leave for India soon,” TMVP Spokesperson Azath Maulana said.
