A 17-year-old Lexington man has been arrested on warrants in connection to home break-ins in March and earlier this month.
Tayon Maurice Young, of Josie Court, is suspected in burglaries March 12 on Longs Pond Road near Lexington and April 1 on Roundtree Drive near Gaston.
Young was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at a Crestridge Drive home, the Lexington County Sheriff's Dept. said.
He is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, two counts of grand larceny and one count of criminal conspiracy.
The arrest followed a tip about Young's whereabouts, the department said. When deputies entered the home, they found Young hiding in a closet.
