USC backup quarterback Aramis Hillary was arrested early Thursday morning in Lexington County and charged with underage drinking and drunkeness, according to the Lexington County Detention Center Web site.
Hillary, 19, was arrested with his brother CoCo Hillary, 22. According to the Web site, CoCo Hillary was charged with driving under the influence and violation of the ABC Act.
An official with the Lexington County Sheriff's Department said West Columbia handled the arrest.
Aramis Hillary, a redshirt freshman from Edgefield, is among a number of quarterbacks competing for the No. 2 job this spring. Under USC athletic department policy, he will be suspended indefinitely pending resolution of the charges.
CoCo Hillary is a former Appalachian State wide receiver.
