Close friends and family of the late Ann Smith who grieve her tragic passing said they will continue to keep her memory alive with acts of kindness and charity.
Two years after Sally Ferriter and others close to Smith found her body at her Whitney Drive home, Ferriter said many still reminisce about their "good friend."
She is still not forgotten by her Kennedy Middle School family, Ferriter said.
The middle school came together in late winter 2009 after Ferriter said she traveled to Atlanta to visit Smith's gravesite during the Christmas holiday.
Although a year and eight months had passed since Smith's death, Ferriter said a marker was noticeably absent from the gravesite.
