The Asian Development Bank pledges continued assistance for infrastructure development in Sri Lanka.
ADB President Haruhiko Kuroda who is on a three-day official visit Sri Lanka during a meeting with President Rajapaksa at Temple Trees yesterday assured that they would continue to help Sri Lanka in her development He appreciated the mega development that is taking place in the island. He told the President that he was extremely satisfied with it.
Mr. Kuroda lauded the Government for the post-war reconstruction and development activities that are taking place in the country. The ADB President is scheduled to make field trips and meet beneficiaries of ADB-supported projects in the North and East.
