Jun 7, 2010 7:42:19 AM - itnnews.lk

Cut off marks of the GCE (Advanced) Level examination have been released to facilitate university admissions to faculties such as Arts, Commerce, Medical, Management and Nursing.

University Grants Commission Chairman Prof. Gamini Samaranayake said they have taken measures to issue the minimum cut off marks required for University admissions. 22,800 students will gain admission to all universities this year.

The notable feature this year is the ability of students to pursue their education at all universities including the Jaffna University based on their merits. He expressed their gratitude to the President, the Defence Secretary and other officers concerned, for the conducive conditions prevailing in the island.
