Three Lexington County residents are under arrest following the discovery of an outdoor methamphetamine lab.
The set-up on Minnie Fallaw Road near Pelion led to charges of meth manufacturing against Kenneth Warren Moore, 21, of Beckman Road, Lexington; Jonathan Lee Shealy, 30, of Watling Road, West Columbia; and Tiffany Lynn Weaver, 23, of Mack Street, Gaston, the Lexington County Sheriff's department said.
The trio was arrested early Sunday morning after the sheriff's office received a call about suspicious activity. Responding deputies detected a strong smell of a chemical used in meth manufacture, anhydrous ammonia. Additional officers were called to the scene and the team found evidence of meth making in the rear of the home.
Deputies arrested Moore in a vehicle outside the home. They later found and arrested Shealy and Weaver as the pair was walking on Clayhill Road.
All three suspects were being held Tuesday at the Lexington County Detention Center on bonds of $100,000 each.
