Jun 8, 2010 9:19:43 AM - itnnews.lk

Former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka has again told the BBC that war crimes had taken place during the humanitarian operations. He has stressed that he is not concealing anything from the BBC.

The BBC revealed that Sarath Fonseka had referred to a witness who had heard the Defence Secretary ordering the army officers to shoot and kill the surrendering fighters. When asked what he would do if allegations against war crimes are to be investigated, speaking over the phone Sarath Fonseka said he would not try to hide anything that he is aware of.
