Irmo man gets life sentence in death of his son

An Irmo man has received a sentence of life in prison in the shaking death of his infant son.
Alexander Edward Lynch, 24, of 1220 Meredith Drive was sentenced to life imprisonment by Lexington Judge Knox McMahon for the crime of homicide by child abuse.
The child, Rashard Lynch, was 57 days old and the biological son of the defendant.
