Library board discusses options to meet budget cuts

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting Wednesday to discuss other options for handling the budget crisis. Last week, trustees decided to cut 148 jobs and close a dozen branches to make up for a $2 million shortfall in the county's budget.
