Attorney General candidate Alan Wilson picked up two endorsements today, including one from a former opponent.
Robert Bolchoz, who finished third in the June 8 primary, and former S.C. Attorney General Charlie Condon are appearing at news conferences in Mount Pleasant, Columbia and Greenville today. U.S. Rep. Joe Wilson, the candidate’s father, attended the announcement in Mount Pleasant.
Bolchoz and Condon noted Wilson’s prosecutorial experience as a key factor in their support. Wilson is a former prosecutor in the Lexington County solicitor’s office and the attorney general’s office.
Wilson and second-place primary finisher Leighton Lord, a managing partner in Nexsen Pruet, one of the state’s largest law firms, are facing off in the June 22 runoff.
