Artifacts from SC archaeological dig on display

Students from a South Carolina university are sharing bits of the past uncovered on the state's north coast.
Coastal Carolina University students and professors share their findings Tuesday at the visitors center at the Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge.
Coastal sponsors archaeological digs for students that include everything from designing field surveys to excavating and writing reports.
At a dig on the Conway Riverwalk, students found artifacts from a 19th century shipyard.
At the wildlife refuge, they found remains of what may have been a cabin. They also found glass, a tin bowl and bricks that could have been a foundation.
