The new circular in respect of Grade One admissions has been issued.
The Education Ministry took measures to issue the new circular to all schools on Thursday. Education Secretary Sunil A. Sirisena said Principals will handle Grade One admissions. He said admissions to the intermediate classes will be jointly handled by the Principals and the Education Ministry.
