Investigators probing credit card scam

A man used a stolen credit card to buy merchandise at a West Columbia home improvement store, and Lexington County Sheriffs investigators are asking for help in catching him.
The credit card was stolen June 15 during an auto break-in in the Quail Hollow subdivision, the Sheriffs Department reported. The man was wearing a striped shirt, baseball cap, shorts and white athletic shoes during his shopping trip at Home Depot. He was recorded on an in-store surveillance camera. Anyone with information that could lead to an arrest should call Crime Stoppers at (888) 274-6372.
