The Government’s programme of issuing the important vital documents of the civilians who are being resettled in their places of origin will continue unabated.
They will be provided with their National Identity Cards, Birth, marriage and death certificates and other important documents. The programme is effective with the support of the Justice and Public Administration Ministries. It is being mooted by MP’s who have been elected to Parliament for the first time. It is spearheaded by Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa. A Mobile Service was organized for the issue of these legal documents to the civilians at the Kilinochchi District Secretariat.
