An assault charge against Ric Flair's wife has been dismissed.
Jacqueline Beems was arrested in February and accused of assaulting the wrestler at their Charlotte home. The police report states Flair received minor injuries and refused to be transported to the hospital.
Flair refused to testify against his wife during the trial. The judge dismissed the charge after the prosecutors presented their evidence, said Mecklenburg Assistant District Attorney Bruce Lillie.
The judge ruled that prosecutors had not proven their case, Lillie said.
Flair and Beems met in 2004 in Chicago and dated until they married Nov. 11, 2009. Both were married previously.
