Three Lexington County men are accused of holding a woman hostage on July 3 and sexually assaulting her five times.
And, a woman has been charged with assault in connection with the case.
Mark Richard David Janzen, 23, of Gaston has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual assault, kidnapping and second-degree assault and battery. Michael Brandon Murphy, 24, of Lexington has been charged with first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree assault and battery. Clarence Pack III, 40, of West Columbia has been charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual assault.
All three men are being held at the Lexington County Detention Center, the Lexington County Sheriff's Department reported.
The 27-year-old victim called Janzen on July 3 to ask for a ride home after a friend took her car without permission, police said. Instead of taking the woman home, Janzen allegedly drove her to his house where she was assaulted by Janzen and another woman over a dispute over $40, the sheriff's report said.
