The suspect in the Eppawala quadruple murder case has been remanded till the 28th of this month.
Police Media Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakody said that the suspect was remanded after being produced before the Thambuttegama Magistrate. He has confessed to killing four members of the same family at Sandaresgama in Eppawala.
The Police took him into custody near the Fort Railway station on the 16th of this month. The suspect has admitted that the crime was committed when the victims were watching the final World Cup football Match.
The Police have found that the suspect had been staying several days in Colombo, Kandy and Kurunegala areas after committing the murder.
