A 33-year-old Columbia woman died in a Wednesday morning collision in Fairfield County.
The S.C. Highway Patrol said the crash happened around 7:50 a.m. at S.C. 200 and Camp Welfare Road.
The driver of the second car, Sarah Boyd, 55, of Silverstreet, was airlifted to Palmetto Health Richland, trooper Billy Elder said.
Boyd was driving east on S.C. 200 in a Nissan Altima when the driver of a Honda drove through a stop sign and the two vehicles collided.
Boyd was wearing a seat belt but was entrapped, Elder said. The driver of the Honda also was belted, but died of her injuries on the scene.
