A mom locked herself in a bathroom at a Rock Hill Walmart with two children and nearly $1,000 in merchandise, police say.
A 24-year-old Fort Mill woman was charged with shoplifting Friday after police say she spent more than two hours in Walmart?s restroom, according to a Rock Hill police report.
She is accused of taking tags off and trying to take $977.46 worth of merchandise from the store.
Police were called to the Dave Lyle store around 7:30 a.m. Friday on a report of a woman and two children, ages 7 and 2, locked inside the restroom.
The store manager told police the woman took a shopping cart with merchandise into the restroom around 5 a.m. and refused to leave, the report said.
