Commissioner General of Examinations Anura Edirisinghe says that all measures are in place to conduct G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination countrywide, including the Northern and Eastern Provinces.
Mr. Edirisinghe said that admission cards for students had been despatched to the respective schools and to the residential addresses of the private candidates.
Private candidates, who had so far not received their admission cards, should immediately contact the Examination Department.
Mr. Edirisighe further said that the Department would remain opened 24 hours of the day from today until the 3rd of next month. The national identity card or the passport are valid to consolidate the identity of candidates who are sitting the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination this year.
