An Indigenous Medical Centre is being built at the Ranaviru Sevana in Ragama to undertake treatment for the war heroes.
The foundation stone for the Centre was laid by Minister Piyasena Gamage. The new Centre is coming upin parallel to the Hela Weda Nivasa operated by the Indigenous Medicine Ministry. Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the 50 houses are coming up under the Hela Weda Nivasa programme.
Deputy Minister Pandu Bandaranayake and Army Commander Lt. Gen. Jagath Jayasuriya were present.
