The G-15 high level Task Force meeting is being held in Colombo.
The Group comprises 17 developing countries from Asia. President Rajapaksa assumed Chairmanship of the Group at the G-15 Summit held in Teheran in May this year. The first meeting of the Task Force involving senior officials of the G-15 opened in Colombo today. It will continue at the John Exeter International Conference Hall of the Central Bank until tomorrow. The decisions to be taken at this meeting will be forwarded to the next Foreign Ministers meeting of the G-15. President Secretary Lalith Weeratunge and Foreign Secretary Romesh Jayasinghe were among those present at the opening of the conference.
