A meeting has been held between the special representatives of the G-15 group attending a meeting in Colombo and the President on strengthening international cooperation.
The team of special representatives who arrived in Sri Lanka called on the President. A Task Force was set up after the President assumed Chairmanship of the Group. The aim of the Task Force is to present suggestions to streamline the activities of the organization. The President was updated on the report being compiled by the Task Force. It will be presented at the G-15 Foreign Ministers conference in New York. Governor of the Central Bank Ajith Nivard Cabral also participated in the occasion.
