Muttiah Muralitharan will return to wear the Sri Lanka cap in Australia when the national team tours Down Under in November, the world record holder has reveled.
The legendary spinner who retired from Test cricket last month was quoted by international news reports as saying that chairman of national selectors Aravinda de Silva had asked him to prepare for the important One Day International series in Australia.
"I have been told by Aravinda to be prepared for the ODI tour of Australia. I have not stopped training and from going to the gym. I will not change my earlier routine and I will train my hardest. Everyday I bowl and bat with whatever facilities I am getting in Sri Lanka." Muralitharan had said.
Muralitharan has announced that he is still available for the ODIs and T20 internationals for Sri Lanka but was not picked for the current Tri Nation tournament played in Sri Lanka.
