The air services between Sri Lanka and Qatar are being increased.
Qatar and Sri Lanka signed a memorandum of understanding on bilateral air service. The agreement was signed by Abdul Aziz Al Noaimi, Chairman of Qatar Civil Aviation Authority and K V P R de Silva, Secretary to the Ministry of Ports and Aviation. Under the agreement air traffic between the two countries will be regulated with regard to the latest updates of the ICAO. Qatar Airways currently operates three daily flights to Sri Lanka which are expected to increase as per the MOU.
