Lexington home damaged in fire

A Lexington home suffered about $25,000 in damages after a Thursday kitchen fire.
Lexington County Fire Service firefighters were called to the home at 104 Gibson Road around 12:11 p.m. Thursday, the fire service said. They found fire and smoke coming from the home's kitchen.
Fire fighters brought the fire under control in about 30 minutes.
No one was at home when the fire started. There were no injuries.
It was not immediately clear how the fire started.
