New Zealand captain Ross Taylor elected to bat after winning the toss against Sri Lanka in a triangular one-day series match on Friday. New Zealand made three changes from the side that beat India by 200 runs in the opening match, bringing in Bradley-John Watling, Nathan McCullum and Tim Southee in place of Peter Ingram, Jacob Oram and Grant Elliott.
