The South Asian Archaeological Congress will meet in Colombo tomorrow.
The congress will be held for two days at the Sociology faculty auditorium of the Kelaniya University. The chief guest of the occasion will be Vice Chancellor of the Kelaniya University Prof. Sarath Amunugama.
Around 152 archaeologists representing India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Iran and Korea and several other countries will participate in the congress. The congress is organized by the Centre for Asian Studies at the Kelaniya University.
