Tyler Lee Goodpaster
Tyler Lee Goodpaster, 24, Cromwell, and formerly of Ohio, passed away at 7:40 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 14, 2020, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born on July 11, 1996, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Troy Lee Jones and Heather Richelle (Goodpaster) Raypole.
Tyler attended high school in Wilmington, Ohio and very much enjoyed playing on the Wilmington Hurricanes football team. He moved to Warsaw, in 2017 to be with his family. Being young and still finding his own way, he wasn’t afraid to try new things and worked at a number of jobs prior to working for My P.A. (My Personal Assistant LLC) in Warsaw where he did lawn maintenance for many clients in the area. He would roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty, and even when he washed his hands, he couldn’t always get rid of the dirt.
Tyler’s badge of honor for a hard day’s work. He enjoyed working on cars and one of his favorite pastime was fishing. Most of all, Tyler dearly loved his family. In his short 24 years he did leave some good memories in the hearts of his family and friends who will forever love and remember him
He will be lovingly remembered by his mother: Heather Raypole; father: Troy Lee Jones (both of Piqua, Ohio); daughter: Khevaya Goodpaster, and two sons, Markus and Joziah Goodpaster, all of Wilmington, Ohio. He also leaves behind two brothers: Jeffrey Jones, Hillsboro, Ohio; Joshua Jones, Piqua, Ohio; and his sister: Mishell Hutchens, Blanchester, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Tyler in 2017.
Visitation will be held from noon-3 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw. Tyler’s life will be celebrated immediately following visitation with a service at 3 p.m.
