Sri Lanka extend lead in third test against Pakistan
Sri Lanka ended the day at the crease in the fourth day of the third Test on July 5 at the Pallekele Stadium.
The home team, who put up 278 in their first innings, managed to score 228 runs for the loss of five wickets.
Pakistan managed to outdo the the home side early on despite a notable 48 by Upul Tharanga and 77 by skipper Angelo Mathews.
Sri Lanka lost its wickets at constant rate early on with Yasir Shah and Rahat Ali picking up two wickets each. Sri Lanka are currently leading by 291 wickets with five wickets in hand.
