Benedictines stun Wesley
St. Benedict’s College Kotahena created an upset when they beat the giant killers of the opening day Wesley College 2-0 on the second day of the Hockey National School Games organized by the Ministry of Education and worked for the second day at Edward Park and Bernard Aluwihare Stadium Matale yesterday. At half time Benedictine led 1-0. Another School to impress in the tournament was Pushpadane Girls College who beat Bishop’s College 5-0 and Sangamitta Balika Vidyalaya Matale to enter the Semi-finals of the tournament.
