Anura Kumara speaks at JVP event to present Accord of Conscience to businessmen
Leader of the JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake, speaking to businessman on Monday July 27, said that the JVP would cleanse the country of its ‘black economy.’
He said that a person in this country, from the newborn baby to the feeble old man, are in debt of Rs.355,000 and the revenue generated by the government in 2013 was Rs.1183 billion.
He also said that we have been brought to a situation of economic crisis and cannot move ahead without solving this issue. The event was organised to present the Accord of Conscience programme of the JVP to businessmen and have a dialogue on the matter.
