Bloemendhal drive-by shooting suspects will be identified: IGP
IGP N.K. Illangakoon, who arrived at the Bloemendhal drive-by shooting crime scene, stated that the suspects connected to the crime will be identified and the needful will be done to expedite the arrest of the suspects and that take legal action will be taken.
Sharing his thoughts on the incident, UPFA Colombo District Candidate Thilanga Sumathipala noted that the group who were engaged in canvassing were armed as well. He added that it was reported by the police that among the crowd were persons known as Sanka and Army Sampath and that the duo had returned to the country recently.
Thilanga Sumathipala also revealed that there are reports which say that units were given to the two individuals at the newly- constructed housing complex.
