FC Bayern Munich to make donation,with refugees inflow on the rise in Germany
Bayern Munich look to make a positive contribution to refugee’s plight as the German champs donate $1,11m to help refugees. The club will also set up a training camp as the inflow of refugees rise. Thousands have crossed over in to Germany via Hungary and Austria with Munich’s train stations being on the main entry points.
Europe’s rising refugees crisis is due to the instability in countries like Syria, who are trying to escape war and poverty. According to Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge “”FC Bayern see it as its social responsibility to help those fleeing and suffering children, women and men, to support them and accompany them in Germany,”
Bayern’s Youth academy is to set up the training camp for kids in conjunction with the City of Munich and plans host training sessions along with German language classes as well as offer meals.
Bundasliga fans have been supportive of the refugees entering Germany and has been expressive about their stance on the crisis. With refugee numbers on the rise the support of the fans comes as sign of relief for those seeking refuge in Germany.
Thousands of Germans were seen staging pro-migrant rally with refugees welcome banners in response to violence that has occurred in this regard.
