Ceremony held in Anuradhapura to mark 200th edition of News1st Classroom Workshop

The ceremony to mark the 200th edition of the News1st Classroom Workshop was held at the Nivanthaka – Chethiya Maha Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura on Friday.

The workshop is conducted with the objective of enhancing media literacy of students. The News1st Classroom Workshop which was successful in conducting a series of workshops, was organised to uplift the capability of students in terms of leadership and communication.

Our efforts to enhance the knowledge and understanding in the field of media. to students from all walks of life, was done with the use modern methodology, to introduce the students to innovative and unconventional methods of media and journalism.

A number of students and teachers were in attendance at Thursday’s programme which was held at the Nivanthaka – Chethiya Maha Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura .

Meanwhile, a number of high-ranking officails representing TCMOL were present at the ceremony to mark the 200th edition of the News1st classroom programme on Friday. which got underway in the premises of Nivanthaka-Chethiya Maha Vidyalaya in Anuradhapura.
