RW Asks For Time In Parliament
Opposition and UNP Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe has requested for time to be allocated in parliament to condole with Japan following the devastating tsunami, when the House meets next month.
Wickremesinghe has in writing requested Speaker of Parliament Chamal Rajapaksa to set aside some time to condole when parliament convenes.
He has asked for time to be set aside for the purpose when parliament sessions commence on April 22.
Meanwhile, Wickremesinghe has also met with the Japanese ambassador in Sri Lanka to express his condolences over the lives lost in Japan following the earthquake and tsunami last week.
