Health Ministry takes steps to track Zika Virus
The Ministry of Health says that steps are being taken to report children born with abnormally small heads within the country, in order to track the Zika Virus.
Dr. Kapila Jayaratne, attached to the Ministry of Health, said that tracking of the virus will commence in hospitals throughout the country from Monday.
Dr. Jayaratne added that if the birth of babies with abnormally small heads shows a significant increase even due to various other reasons, measures will be taken to assess the issue.
