Minister of Ports and Shipping Arjuna Ranatunga arrived at the Human Rights Commission today.

The minister arrived at the Human Rights Commission to hand over several files with regard to a complaint made about an irregularity in the submission of nominations for the Sri Lanka Cricket election.

Minister of Ports and Shipping, Arjuna Ranatunga noted that they submitted the files regarding the issue since it is not the first time that such an issue had occurred under the sports director.

He added that the ministers are helpless “because of the things the officials do” as the minister try to act “as if they did not notice anything.”

He went on to note that he decided to hand it over to the Human Rights Commission and bring about justice and find a solution “over officials like this.”
