Dilshan national Captain till end 2011
Sri Lanka Cricket issuing a press release has informed that the Minister of Sports Mahindananda Aluthgamage has approved the appointment of all rounder T.M.Dilshan as the National Captain for all three formats of the game till 31 Dec 2011 with immediate effect.
Dilshan made his Test debut in November 1999 and has accumulated 4243 runs in 68 Test Matches with 12 centuries and 17 fifties. Dilshan has 20 scalps to his credit in the Test arena so far. He made his ODI debut in December 1999 by scoring 5587 ODI runs in 212 matches with 10 Centuries and 23 fifties. Dilshan has captured 63 ODI wickets up to date.
