“Dimbula Kahata” tea extends Turkey Brand

East West Marketing Ltd., which markets a range of premium quality food products under the brand name Turkey, has added a new refreshing extension to the Turkey brand, under the sub-brand Dimbula Kahata, recently.

Dimbula Kahata is a specially blended premium quality black tea, blended from a range of high grown teas from the salubrious climes of the hill country, East West Marketing said.
The integrated marketing communications programme planned to create awareness and induce trial initially in the launch period, featured versatile popular stage and teledrama actress Kusum Renu as the brand ambassador for Dimbula Kahata tea. The communication that addressed the housewives as the target audience projected the importance of a good quality cup of tea for a busy housewife and her family.  
Dimbula Kahata is now widely available in 25g, 50g, 100g, 200g and 1kg packs in the grocery retail network and supermarket chains in most parts of the island. A sip of it demonstrates the unique taste of this wonderful blend.
East West Marketing Ltd., Chairman and Managing Director K. Mathivanan expressed confidence over the new extension.
