Ceylon Continental’s ‘Wedding Exhibition’ to kick off wedding season in style

On 1 and 2 October, Ceylon Continental Hotel will host a Wedding Exhibition showcasing new trends, well known leading suppliers and the latest wedding ideas and inspirations at the recently renovated Sapphire Ballroom.

It is the first time in Sri Lanka that a five star hotel is gearing to organize an exhibition of such scale and flavor.
Over 40 stalls will frame the hotel’s top-notch ballroom, manned by suppliers ranging from jewelers, florists, bridal dressing, salons, and photographers, to name a few. The hotel will also showcase continental weddings at the exhibition main stall at the entrance of the ballroom.
The ‘Wedding Exh-ibition’ will expose couples to suppliers and options to consider in planning their special day. But the hotel is going a step further in announcing a grand prize available through a raffle draw.
The lucky bride and groom will receive a wedding including a reception site and the catering at Ceylon Continental Hotel.
Couples will stand the chance of being entitled for discounts from various suppliers who will participate at the Continental ‘Wedding Exh-ibition’. ‘Guests will be afforded the same discount throughout the exhibition and all through the year until October 2012.
In addition to the grand prize drawing, there will be other prizes awarded including overnight stays and honeymoon packages from Amaya Resorts and Spas, in addition to gifts sponsored by exhibitors. Welcome drinks and food samplings will be on offer for all visitors, the hotel said.
The event will be organised jointly by Ceylon Continental Hotel and the Asia Exhibition & Convention (Pvt) Ltd., and the hotel plans to conduct it annually.
