Oil tanker chief official from Montenegro dies after falling into sea
The chief officer of an oil tanker that made its way to the Trincomalee harbor has died after falling into the sea.
The incident involving the 56-year-old Montenegro national occurred at around 5 p.m. Thursday evening.
The individual had attempted to climb down the ship using a ladder and had fallen into waters. The Navy had pulled him out of sea and admitted him into hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival, according to police.
